5 Security Steps to Take When Buying a Home

You've chosen a home in a safe neighborhood. Maybe you've already made friends with some of the neighbors. But that doesn't mean you can afford to lag behind on home security. And just because the home you buy has plenty of locks and deadbolts doesn't mean that your family is automatically secure.

1. Find a Reputable Locksmith

While lock installation may sound like an easy job, that doesn't mean you don't have to think about whether your contractor is qualified before you hire them.
